You must have some questions

What should I wear?

The suggested dress code for the Aug. 30 wedding is elevated cocktail attire, with dresses and suits encouraged.

For footwear, dressy flats, wedges or block heels are recommended. Note that stilettos are not ideal for Camp Saturna's terrain.

Consider bringing an outer layer for the evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus one. If you have any questions about your invite, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Will I need to hike to get to the ceremony?

No. A short forested walk leads to the ceremony site. The distance is about 70 yards.

If you're hoping to hike on your trip to Washington, some of the best trails in the state are near the venue. Check out Taylor and Pat's hiking guide

Are kids invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless they're specifically included on your invitation.

We hope this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy a night off!

What's the drive to the venue like?

No mountain driving required! Camp Saturna sits at low elevation in the Nooksack River valley, so there's no steep terrain to worry about. Roads are mostly paved, though depending on your route, you may encounter some gravel stretches.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue.

How do I get there?

The Maple Falls, WA venue is approximately 2.5 hours from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), 50 minutes from Bellingham International Airport (BLI), 1 hour 45 minutes from Paine Field (PAE), and 1.5 hours from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

Where do I stay?

All wedding guests will have the option to stay at the couple's beautiful lakeside campground venue or secure their own lodging nearby. Taylor and Pat have compiled a list of lodging options with special rates here

I want to extend my trip to Washington. What are the best things to do and see in town?

Taylor and Pat's wedding venue is in one of the most scenic parts of Washington state!

Whether you're just staying for wedding weekend or planning an extended trip to the Pacific Northwest, check out this area guide with the couple's top recommendations.

Any guidelines for exploring the outdoors while we're in town?

The couple kindly requests that you help keep their favorite places beautiful by practicing Leave No Trace principles while enjoying the outdoors during wedding weekend.

Pack out everything you pack in and leave rocks, plants and wildlife as you find them. Many of the trails in the area pass through fragile alpine meadows, where vegetation is easily damaged by foot traffic, so it's important to stay on the trail.

Check out the hiking guide for additional tips, trail recommendations and safety guidelines.
